About Me

First off I'd like to welcome you to my website and thank you for visiting. My name is DJ (David Jr.) Cotlow and I've been djing since 2000, when I got my first experience in the dj/radio scene. I have always loved music and with an enthusiasm to perform, I set out to buy my first dj setup.

My first set up consisted of 2 turntables, a mixer, and a few vinyl records. I started practicing each day to improve my mixing skills and confidence as a dj. As time passed, I got my first gig spinning on 88.1, the local college radio station in Lubbock, Texas. As I showcased my skills, I made connections with the biggest club promoter in the city.

After the radio gig, I started spinning at a small lounge called WHISKEY DIXS on Saturday nights. This gig catapulted me into the larger club circuit where I expanded not only my abilities, but my experiences as well. I then moved up to djing at local parties and 2 of the biggest clubs in Lubbock: STATIC NIGHT CLUB & KLUSOZ. I spun at these clubs various times until I graduated in 2004.

I now reside in Houston, Texas and have started my own mobile dj company. With my years of experience and outgoing personality, I hope to make the mobile dj business a huge success. After working a few weddings since I've moved back, I've had excellent reviews. My passion for great music and entertaining people is what strives me to give you the best entertainment possible.
